indications -infectious diarrhea in children and adults chronic colitis enterocolitis as an adjunctive treatment in combined therapy of intestinal dysbiosis. -contraindication -hypersensitivity to 5-nitrofurane derivatives and/or other components of the drug. -dosage and administration -nifuroxazide should be taken orally with or without meals. -adults and children over 6 years of age - 1 tablet 4 times daily (a daily dose - 800 mg). -the treatment course is 5 - 7 days. -side effects -nifuroxazide is well tolerated- however the following effects may be occasionally observed: -gastrointestinal disorders: short-term abdominal pain nausea aggravation of diarrhea. -hypersensitivity reactions (require discontinuation of the drug): -respiratory disorders: asthma- -skin disorders: rash pruritus.
