indications - -infectious diarrhea in children and adults chronic colitis enterocolitis as an adjunctive treatment in combined therapy of intestinal dysbiosis. - -contraindication - -hypersensitivity to 5-nitrofurane derivatives and/or other components of the drug. - -dosage and administration - -nifuroxazide should be taken orally with or without meals. - -adults and children over 6 years of age - 1 tablet 4 times daily (a daily dose - 800 mg). - -the treatment course is 5 - 7 days. -side effects - -nifuroxazide is well tolerated; however the following effects may be occasionally observed: - -gastrointestinal disorders: short-term abdominal pain nausea aggravation of diarrhea. - -hypersensitivity reactions (require discontinuation of the drug): - -respiratory disorders: asthma; - -skin disorders: rash pruritus.
